Thankfulness, Day 32

I am thankful I'm aware of and have the opportunity to change, to progress. I don't want to be stuck. I am thankful there are people in my life who challenge me to grow.

I am thankful for time with my parents. We always laugh when we're together. We enjoy lazy Saturdays together. Good times.

Thankfulness, Day 29

I am thankful for nice, friendly nurses. Besides, my mom is the best nurse aide ever! Nice friends make coming to the doctor just a little more pleasant.

Thankfulness, Day 27

I am thankful for love. The ability to love someone else is amazing. That we have the capacity in us to love something other than ourselves is incredible. The fact that God loves me more than I am even capable of loving Him back or anything else is mind-blowing. I can never love like God loves. I can love, but my love is imperfect and flawed. Only God loving through me makes my love given perfect. God is love. He is perfect love. Perfect love casts out all fear. Whom shall I fear? Why should I be afraid?

Thankfulness, Day 26

I am thankful for my kids. Love the talks we have and the way they make me laugh. They have such loving, generous hearts. They are good kids.

Thankfulness, Day 25

I am thankful for clean, warm clothes. Sometimes I think I "need" more, but it's just that I "want" more.

Be thankful for what I do have. I am thankful for my clothes.

Thankfulness, Day 22

I am thankful I can breathe. I am thankful for life. Jesus gave me life. Eternal. Can't even wrap my mind around this. What an amazing gift. Humans can give life making a baby. But humans can't give eternal life. If my days are numbered, I want to make the days I do have count. Purposeful. Mindful. Aware. Sincere. Genuine.

I am thankful for my niece and nephew. They are so fun to be around! Love them! I am thankful to get to visit them.

I am thankful for Meghan. She was just like a sister. I miss her, and it's still hard to believe she's gone. She always made me laugh. She was an awesome girl! I love her.

Thankfulness, Day 14

I am thankful for gum. So many different flavors and sizes! It gives my mouth something to do instead of talk. Ha! I am thankful that gum is helpful to me.

Thankfulness, Day 12

I am thankful for my bed. It's always there. Never moves. I know when I lay down at night my bed will keep me comfortable til the sun comes up. I am thankful to have a warm place to sleep.

I am thankful for the men and women who serve our country. Both my grandpas and my cousin, Bo. People in the service aren't recognized or appreciated enough.

I am thankful for my kids. They make me laugh and smile. They are all working hard. I am proud of them.

I am thankful for gluten-free foods that don't taste like socks or cardboard. I discovered some tasty cheese crackers. Pleasing to the palette. I don't necessarily like being a Celiac. I'm glad I have food options.

I am thankful for my job. I love that I get to make crafts, be outside, and talk to people! I enjoy my coworkers. Couldn't ask for better supervisors!

Today I am thankful for my iPod. It keeps me company on my commute to and from Tulsa. I am thankful for the great deal I scored!

I am thankful for Sonic Peach sweet iced tea! It's a good thing to have in the mornings. It's just beautiful.

Thankfulness, Day 5

I am thankful for seasons. The beautiful colors and crazy weather that come with each. The leaves turning. Sweatshirts needed. Big bowls of soup. Reading by the fireplace. Football games. Harvest. Celebrating. Staying cozy and warm with family. Hot chocolate. Hot apple cider. Pumpkin desserts. I am thankful that this new season also brings change in my life. I look back at all I've sown the last several months, and I see some good and some bad. What an opportunity to to celebrate the good and correct the bad. I am thankful for fall.

I am thankful for hobbies. Hobbies fill up my energy tank. Such as, duck tape creations, quilting, scrapbooking and drawing. I am thankful for things I enjoy doing.

I am very thankful for my parents. Had no idea what to do with them growing up. But I spend time appreciating them now. Right there at a time I desperately needed them. Providing a place of comfort and security and safety.

Thankfulness, Day 1

I admire people who keep up with this thankfulness journal project. I'm going to give it a try myself. I need to challenge myself to find the positive in my world.

I'm thankful for hope. Hope for Heaven. Hope that Jesus will welcome me in His arms. Hope that change is possible. Hope that we don't have to settle for just anything. Hope that there is truth. Thankful I can put my hope in Christ.

happy new year

It's not January 1 or even close. But it's a new year for me. Why can't I have a party?

My new year's adventure is getting my duck tape business up and going. I have lots of orders already. I even have a prospective business partner. She's 11. I think that's awesome. I needed a new hobby. I just decided it was going to be duck tape.

Isn't capital gain when the state capital gains more money? Geez.

I'll hire a financial advisor to report about Duck Tape Creations by Lita. Or I probably won't. Because I don't think anyone is too worried about it.
